Heirloom.

When I asked people which vegan places I should try in my year long quest to try a new place every month there was one spot that kept coming up: Heirloom.

So when my bubble decided it was time to venture out there was only one place we thought of going. Honestly, we talked about it for two weeks beforehand, that’s how much people love this place.

Going somewhere you’ve never been that everyone tells you is “the best” is a bit intimidating. And trying to figure out parking is always a personal nightmare of mine. (I’m not great with parallel parking). But let me tell you… it lived up to the hype.

Also, this was the largest salad I’ve ever eaten in my life. Ever. I ate it for an hour and still couldn’t finish. And the “Chicken”… I couldn’t believe it was vegan. I had to stop the waitress to check because it was so good.

Of course I also had to try the oat milk latte. Everyone tried to convince me to get a lavender one, but I stuck with the classic. It was rich, smooth, and came in a beautiful mug. I could drink it every day.

In addition to amazing food, and great company, I was very impressed by the safety and care being taken by the entire staff. I felt safe and secure, and for a few hours I was able to feel normal again. Thank you so much to all of the staff!
